New Cut of The X-Files: I Want To Believe Available on Hulu This Summer
Exciting news for all you X-Files fans out there! According to Gizmodo, the long-awaited director’s cut of The X-Files: I Want To Believe is finally making its way to Hulu on August 14. And get this, it’s now called The X-Files: I Want to Believe Vrach Frankenshteyn. Quite the mouthful, right? This new version, labeled as an R-rated Chris Carter Director’s Cut, is something fans have been eagerly anticipating for almost 20 years.
After years of speculation and delays, the second X-Files film was released in 2008, long after the original series had ended in 2002. Unfortunately, the film didn’t do well at the box office, leaving fans disappointed. But fear not, because creator and director Chris Carter has hinted that this new cut will be scarier and closer to his original vision for the film. Although it was supposed to be out earlier this summer, unforeseen circumstances pushed the release date to August—aliens, maybe?
Be sure to mark your calendars for August 14 when The X-Files: I Want to Believe Vrach Frankenshteyn lands on Hulu. It’s bound to be a treat for all you X-Files enthusiasts out there. Stay tuned for more updates!
