Jaalen Best’s Transformation Into Muhammad Ali: A First Look at ‘The Greatest’ Series on Prime Video

Jaalen Best has been cast as the legendary Muhammad Ali in the upcoming Prime Video series, ‘The Greatest.’ Fans are getting their first look at what to expect from this highly-anticipated show.

At the ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans, a special teaser was revealed, showcasing Best as the iconic boxer, humanitarian, and global figure whose legacy continues to inspire generations.

‘The Greatest’ is set to premiere worldwide on November 4 on Prime Video. The first-look presentation at the festival included creator and executive producer Ben Watkins, along with Jaalen Best and cast members Dana Gourrier, Amin Joseph, Kai Parham, and Michael Ealy. The panel was moderated by journalist Kelley Carter from ESPN and ABC News.

Described as the first authorized scripted series about Ali’s life, the project is executive produced by Lonnie Ali, the widow of the late legend. The series promises to delve into the personal aspects of Ali’s life beyond his victories, defeats, and memorable moments inside and outside the ring.

‘The Greatest’ is a collaboration between Watkins’ Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society, Authentic Studios, Roc Nation, Blue Monday Productions, Polygram Entertainment, and Grace: A Storytelling Company.
