Dodgers Women’s Opportunity Network to Host 5th Women’s Conference
The Los Angeles Dodgers, along with their Women’s Opportunity Network (WON), are gearing up for their fifth Women’s Conference, presented by Yaamava’ Casino and Resorts at San Manuel. Taking place on June 4th at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium, the conference promises to bring together over 500 local professionals for a day of learning, networking, and inspiration.
But before the conference kicks off, there’s a special Golden Hour networking reception on June 3rd. This intimate event allows attendees to mingle with other professionals, snap a photo with the 2024 and 2025 World Series trophies, and enjoy light refreshments and drinks in the stadium Speakeasy. Separate tickets are required for the reception, so be sure to grab yours soon.
The conference itself will feature keynote conversations with notable individuals in the entertainment and sports industries. Dana Walden, President and Chief Creative Officer of The Walt Disney Company, will kick things off with the opening keynote, followed by Willow Bay, Controlling Owner of Angel City Football Club and Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, as the closing keynote speaker.
Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions focusing on various themes in entertainment and sports, such as women making decisions, women on the rise, sports design, and partnerships. And don’t worry about going hungry – breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with an exclusive gift bag to take home.
With speakers from Magic Johnson Enterprises, Live Nation, the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prime Video, and the Los Angeles Kings, attendees can look forward to insightful discussions on topics like women in leadership, rising stars in the industry, sports design innovation, and partnership strategies.
Sara Curran, Vice President of Accounting for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Executive Sponsor for WON, expressed pride in hosting this annual event. “This event is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women, foster meaningful conversations through engaging programming, and create a dynamic environment for networking, mentorship, and professional growth,” she said.
The Women’s Opportunity Network, part of the Dodgers organization, was established in 2020 to promote equity, inclusion, and professional growth for women within the organization. This conference is just one way they’re working to empower women to thrive in all aspects of their careers.
Supporting a culture of excellence and community engagement, the Los Angeles Dodgers are no strangers to success, with a history of nine World Series championships and 26 National League pennants. As back-to-back World Champions in 2024 and 2025, they continue to lead by example on and off the field.
