Elisabeth Moss and ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Top Hulu Shows this Week

This week in Hulu’s top shows, we are thrilled to see the return of “The Handmaid’s Tale” for its final season. Hulu’s ever-changing content library keeps viewers on their toes, so having a list of the top 15 shows and movies is handy for staying up to date.

Finding the best shows to watch can be overwhelming, so I’ve done some research to highlight three shows that are definitely worth your time. At the top of the list is “The Handmaid’s Tale,” starring Elisabeth Moss, which continues to captivate audiences in its sixth and final season. But there are a couple of other gems worth exploring as well.

“The Handmaid’s Tale” follows Elisabeth Moss as June Osbourne in a dystopian world where fertility issues spark a civil war. The show, based on Margaret Atwood’s novel, delves into a society where fertile women are subjugated as “Handmaids.” In this gripping tale, June navigates a treacherous path towards revolution.

Then there’s “Good American Family,” starring Ellen Pompeo and Mark Duplass, which takes viewers on a journey with the Barnetts, who adopt a Ukrainian girl. As their story unfolds, tensions rise, leading to surprising twists and turns in this limited series.

Lastly, “The Rookie,” featuring Nathan Fillion, tells the story of John Nolan, a man looking for purpose who becomes an LAPD rookie. Based on a true story, this show follows John’s journey from a newcomer to a trainer for the police force. With 13 episodes already available for streaming, this season promises excitement and intrigue.

These shows are just a glimpse into the diverse range of content available on Hulu right now. So, if you’re looking for more recommendations, check out our full guide to everything streaming on Hulu in April 2025. Happy watching!
