Recent data from Nielsen’s Gracenote Data Hub shows that Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV+, and Paramount+ collectively increased their unique TV, movie, and sports titles by 5% between February and May. Within this increase, sports content grew by 7.8%, outpacing movie and TV content expansion. Netflix stood out with an 18.2% growth rate, followed by Apple TV+ (3.7%), Prime Video (3.2%), Disney+ (1.6%), and Paramount+ (1%). Netflix now holds 20.1% of all available TV shows, movies, and sports programs across major streaming platforms, up from the previous quarter’s 17.9%. TV programs saw a 6.9% increase, while movies expanded by 4% on these platforms.

As streaming offerings change, effective content discovery remains key to helping viewers find the entertainment they love and maximize the value of each platform’s assets.
