Apple acquires Brett Goldstein romantic comedy for 2024 release

Apple TV+ has just secured the rights to Brett Goldstein’s latest romcom, “All Of You,” which is set to be released next year. The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, takes place in a near future where a scientific test matches people with their soulmates.

In the movie, Goldstein stars alongside Imogen Poots as best friends who discover an unspoken love for each other that goes against the results of the test they took. Joining them on screen are Steven Cree and Zawe Ashton. Goldstein actually co-wrote the script with director William Bridges, known for his work on Black Mirror.

Initial reviews of “All Of You” have been positive, with The Wrap calling it a ‘winning rom-com with more heart than expected’ and Screenrant noting the sizzling chemistry between Goldstein and Poots.

This project is just the latest collaboration between Apple and Goldstein, who previously worked on “Shrinking” for the platform and gained recognition for his role in “Ted Lasso.” Goldstein is also set to star in the Netflix romcom “Office Romance” alongside Jennifer Lopez, a film he co-wrote with Joe Kelly, another writer from “Ted Lasso.”

Additionally, Goldstein has recently wrapped filming on the drama “At The Sea,” which also features Amy Adams, Dan Levy, and Jenny Slate. The movie follows a woman as she spends time in a beach home contemplating the next phase of her life after leaving behind the career that gave her fame and fortune.
