Hulu Drama Pilot ‘Young Americans’ Gets Order, Produced by Bruce Miller

Hulu has greenlit a new pilot called “Young Americans,” a drama that follows the children of the nation’s elite as they navigate the political landscape at Capitol Crest Academy in Washington D.C. Written and executive produced by Chris Hutton and Eddie O’Keefe, with Bruce Miller as an executive producer, the show promises to blend teenage drama with the larger political games of their parents. White Oak Pictures is also on board as a producer, with 20th Television as the studio.

The show’s logline sets the stage for secrets, scandals, and forbidden romances that could potentially escalate tensions to a breaking point. This pilot is just one of many under consideration at Hulu, with other projects like “Lex,” “Durango,” and “Chicks” also in the works. Additionally, fans can look forward to Ryan Coogler’s “X-Files” reboot pilot from Hulu’s Onyx Collective, starring Danielle Deadwyler and Himesh Patel.

Exciting things are on the horizon, so stay tuned for more updates on this budding series and others in the pipeline at Hulu.
