Men Arrested for Aggravated Assault in Netflix Account Dispute: Affidavit
volving a dispute over a Netflix account name change, according to records obtained by KSAT 12. Brian Reynolds, 19, and Anthony Constante, 18, are facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as per Bexar County court records.
The incident occurred on Sept. 24 in the 6000 block of Calle Briseno. The victim reported that an altercation broke out after Reynolds changed the name on his Netflix account. Feeling disrespected, the victim agreed to fight Reynolds and Constante, who is a friend of Reynolds.
Upon arriving at the residence to confront the two, the victim was instructed to leave. As he was leaving, Reynolds and Constante hopped over a fence to approach him. According to the victim, Reynolds had a firearm on his waistband and was urged to put the gun away and fight fair. Reynolds then handed the loaded gun to Constante, initiating a physical altercation.
When Reynolds seemed to be losing the fight, Constante joined in by punching the victim while holding the weapon. Constante then handed the gun back to Reynolds, who continued the altercation with the gun in hand. Unfortunately, the gun went off, causing the victim to sustain injuries to the head.
The exact trajectory of the bullet is unclear, as it may have ricocheted off the roadway. Both men were subsequently booked in the Bexar County Adult Detention Center as per court records.
