Christopher Meloni and William H. Macy Set to Star in New Hulu NFL Series by Dan Fogelman
Christopher Meloni and William H. Macy are teaming up to star in a new Hulu series created by Dan Fogelman, known for “This Is Us.” This untitled drama set in the world of professional football has been generating buzz since it was announced in October 2024.
Meloni, who will play the team’s head coach, Danny Roarke, has a personal connection to football—back in high school, he was the quarterback for St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Virginia. In fact, in 2007, he and his team were honored with a spot in the school’s hall of fame for their undefeated season in 1978.
In this new series, Meloni’s character and Macy’s character, NFL team owner Hank Durkin, will bring a generational family dynamic to life on the screen. Fans can look forward to seeing these talented actors in action under the creative direction of Fogelman and the production expertise of an all-star team including Jess Rosenthal, David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, and Jason T. Reed from Skydance Sports.
The show promises to give viewers an inside look into the thrilling and complex world of professional football, blended with the emotional depth and character development that Fogelman has become known for. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
