Streaming Ratings Update: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘FUBAR’ Season 2 Premiere Decline
The latest Nielsen streaming ratings are in, and they show some interesting shifts in viewer interest.
First up is the action comedy FUBAR, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which saw a significant drop in viewership for its second season. In the week of June 9-15, FUBAR pulled in 412 million minutes of viewing. This is a steep decline of 73% from its series premiere week in May 2023, which garnered an impressive 1.53 billion viewing minutes. The show ranked eighth among original series for the week, and also had a modest start in Netflix’s worldwide rankings.
On the flip side, Ginny & Georgia held strong for the second week in a row, maintaining its position as the No. 1 overall streaming title. With 2.86 billion minutes of viewing, it was just shy of the prior week’s 2.88 billion minutes – an impressive feat for the show.
Love Island USA also had a notable week, hitting a series high with 1.09 billion viewing minutes in the second week of season seven. This marks a significant increase from the show’s previous high of 1.05 billion minutes midway through its 2024 season. According to Nielsen, Love Island USA has a strong viewership base in the adults 18-34 demographic, making it a hit among young adult audiences.
