41 years after William Gibson’s groundbreaking cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer, was published, Apple TV+ is bringing the iconic story to life on the screen. In a short video released to mark the anniversary, we get a glimpse of the Chatsubo Bar, a key location in the futuristic world of Chiba City. The 30-second teaser transports us to the 1980s neon-soaked setting, complete with classic arcade machines that will surely make fans of the novel excited.
The series, set to have 10 episodes, stars Callum Turner as Case, a skilled hacker, and Briana Middleton as his partner, assassin Molly. With a talented cast including Mark Strong, Cleménce Poésy, Peter Sarsgaard, Emma Laird, Joseph Lee, and Dane DeHaan, the show is in good hands. Co-created by Graham Roland and J.D. Dillard, with Roland as the showrunner and Dillard directing the first episode, Neuromancer promises to be a visually stunning and captivating adaptation.
