Neuromancer Teaser: Apple TV+ William Gibson Adaptation Release

Apple TV+ just dropped the first teaser for their series adaptation of William Gibson’s iconic Cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer. The teaser doesn’t give away much, but it does take us into Bar Chatsubo, a recognizable spot for fans of Gibson’s work.

Briana Middleton, known for her roles in Sharper and The Inheritance, is set to portray the fierce Molly Millions. Recent set photos show Middleton looking remarkably close to the description of the cyborg mercenary in Gibson’s books.

Molly, also known as Sally Shears and Rose Kolodny, was first introduced in Gibson’s short story Johnny Mnemonic before becoming a prominent figure in the Sprawl Trilogy. She’s a tough “razorgirl” equipped with cybernetic enhancements like retractable blades under her nails and mirrored lenses over her eyes.

Another key player in the series is Emma Laird, although her character hasn’t been disclosed yet. Laird hinted at the complexity of the project in a recent interview, praising the faithfulness of the adaptation to the source material.

The star-studded cast includes Callum Turner as Case, Joseph Lee as Hideo, and Mark Strong as Armitage, among others. The series is set to run for 10 episodes, but there’s no official premiere date yet.
