Sports programming, in particular, has seen a significant 7.8% increase.
Let’s break it down further. Netflix now boasts 20.1% of TV shows, movies, and sports programs available on major streaming services, up from 17.9% in the previous quarter. Impressive numbers, right? When we look at individual services, Netflix has seen a remarkable 18.2% increase in total available content, with sports up 22.1%, TV shows up 21.9%, and movies up 16.1%.
Apple TV+ has also seen growth, with a 3.7% increase in total share, fueled by a 25% rise in sports programming. With effective content discovery, streamers can connect viewers to the entertainment they’ll enjoy most, ensuring that you get the most out of each platform’s catalog.
