Bafta TV Awards 2021: Full List of Winners and Nominations

The Bafta TV Awards were a star-studded event at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, where we saw Mr Loverman, Mr Bates vs the Post Office, and Baby Reindeer take home some well-deserved prizes. Let’s dive into the full list of winners and nominees in each category.

Starting off with Drama Series, Blue Lights on BBC One snagged the crown, beating out tough competition like Sherwood on BBC One and Wolf Hall: The Mirror And The Light. Moving on to Limited Drama, Mr Bates Vs The Post Office on ITV1 emerged as the winner in a category filled with gripping stories like Baby Reindeer on Netflix and Lost Boys And Fairies on BBC One.

In Scripted Comedy, Alma’s Not Normal on BBC Two took home the gold, facing off against other impressive shows like Brassic on Sky Max and G’Wed on ITV1. When it comes to Leading Actress, Marisa Abela’s performance in Industry on BBC One stood out amongst stellar performances from the likes of Billie Piper in Scoop on Netflix and Sharon D Clarke in Mr Loverman on BBC One.

Leading Actor brought praise to Lennie James for his role in Mr Loverman on BBC One, showcasing his talent against strong contenders like Gary Oldman in Slow Horses on Apple TV+ and Richard Gadd in Baby Reindeer on Netflix. And let’s not forget about the supporting roles – Jessica Gunning shone in Baby Reindeer on Netflix to win Best Supporting Actress, while Ariyon Bakare impressed in Mr Loverman on BBC One to claim Best Supporting Actor.

Ruth Jones stole the show with her performance in Gavin & Stacey: The Finale on BBC One, earning her the title of Female Performance in Comedy. And in the Male Performance in Comedy category, the hilarious Danny Dyer took home the prize for Mr Bigstuff on Sky Comedy.

Iconic shows like EastEnders on BBC One won the Soap category, while Would I Lie To You? on BBC One swept the Entertainment Programme category. Joe Lycett’s Late Night Lycett on Channel 4 snagged the top spot for Entertainment Performance, showcasing his unique talent and humor.

Rob And Rylan’s Grand Tour on BBC Two clinched the Factual Entertainment category, while The Jury: Murder Trial on Channel 4 captured the Reality category. In the Single Documentary section, Ukraine: Enemy In The Woods on BBC Two was celebrated for its gripping storytelling and depth of insight.
