June 2024 Streaming Guide: New Releases on Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and More

June is almost upon us and the arrival of a new month always means it’s time for a new wave of movies and TV shows on your favorite streaming services. Netflix, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, and Prime Video all have waves of new additions planned throughout the month ahead.

If you’re into movies, Netflix has a couple of big debuts set for June. Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, which stars Glen Powell, arrives on June 7th. Later in the month, the streamer will release the Jessica Alba-starring Trigger Warning.

On the TV side of things, June will see the return of hit shows like The Boys, Mayor of Kingstown, and HBO’s House of the Dragon. The Acolyte, the newest live-action Star Wars series, hits Disney+ this month.

June 1st brings a plethora of new content to various streaming platforms. Netflix adds movies like La La Land and The Lego Movie, while Disney+ features For the First Time in Forever: The Making of World of Frozen. Max introduces titles like Minari and Uncut Gems, while Hulu includes classics such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Fight Club. Paramount+ offers a range of films from 10 Cloverfield Lane to EuroTrip. Peacock adds a variety of content, including the film Brokeback Mountain and the TV series Survivor’s Remorse.

June 2nd sees the addition of new seasons and episodes to various platforms. Max premieres Craig of the Creek and Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse, while Paramount+ debuts the season three premiere of Mayor of Kingstown. Peacock adds The Alpinist to its lineup.

June 3rd brings more content to streaming services. Netflix includes shows like 30 for 30: Lance and How I Met Your Mother, while Disney+ features World Eats Bread. Max adds Battle on the Beach and Deadly Influence, and Hulu introduces Bullet Train and various comedy specials.

On June 4th, Netflix releases Jo Koy: Live from Brooklyn and The Price of Nonna’s Inheritance. Disney+ premieres Erased: WW2’s Heroes of Color and The Acolyte, while Max adds the 20th Anniversary Special of Deadliest Catch.
