New Releases on Disney+ in October 2025
In October, Disney+ is bringing us a mix of new content to enjoy. From series premieres to Halloween specials, there’s something for everyone to look forward to. One of the highlights this month is Disney+ streaming select episodes of ESPN’s College GameDay pre-game show on Saturday mornings. If you’re a fan of behind-the-scenes sports coverage, this is a great addition to your streaming lineup.
For those who enjoy ongoing series, Disney+ will be releasing new episodes of popular shows throughout the month. Dancing With the Stars, now in its 34th season, will have new episodes every Tuesday. Traveling With Snow Man, following the J-Pop group’s journey through Japan, will have new episodes every Sunday. And if you’re into K-dramas, Tempest will be wrapping up its first season with the final two episodes streaming at the beginning of the month. Plus, historical drama fans can look forward to new episodes of The Murky Stream every Friday.
Starting off the month, we have Superkitties season 3 available for all the cat lovers out there. This animated Disney Jr. series follows a group of super cats on a mission to protect their neighborhood in Purrville. And for some spooky fun, Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Songs: Halloween will be airing, featuring family-friendly hits like Hot Dog! Halloween.
Throughout October, Disney+ will also be adding several new movies and series. From the Dutch Disney+ original movie The Balloonist to the classic dark fantasy film Something Wicked This Way Comes, there’s a variety of content to keep you entertained. Additionally, Halloween-themed shows like Halloween Wars and Halloween Baking Championship will be perfect for getting into the seasonal spirit.
As the month progresses, we can look forward to more new episodes of our favorite series, including Dancing With the Stars, Wizards Beyond Waverley Place, and Electric Bloom. And for the vampire fans, Vampirina: Teenage Vampire will be debuting on Disney+, based on the popular Vampirina Ballerina books.
With more surprises and announcements expected throughout the month, Disney+ is definitely the place to be this October. So grab your favorite snacks, cozy up on the couch, and get ready for some great streaming entertainment!
