Feds Raid Tujunga Home of TikTok Cult Pastor in Sex Trafficking and Fraud Probe

Early Friday morning, federal agents raided a home in Tujunga linked to a pastor, Robert Shinn, known from the Netflix docuseries “Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult.” The investigation is looking into serious allegations, including sex trafficking, money laundering, tax evasion, and fraud related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pastor, Robert Shinn, who runs the Shekinah Church, is accused by those featured in the docuseries of being an abusive cult leader. They describe how Shinn would isolate them from their families, claiming they needed to detach from their loved ones to be “saved.” He allegedly told them that by following his teachings and being “godly,” they could rescue their families from damnation.

The home in question, located on McGroarty Street, belongs to multiple owners, including Robert Shinn. He also runs a talent agency that supposedly helps influencers and TikTok performers secure work in Los Angeles.

Law enforcement authorities, including agents from the U.S. Postal Service, Internal Revenue Service, and U.S. Department of Labor, executed the raid with the help of the El Monte Police Department and FBI. SWAT officers were present on the scene to provide assistance as well.

Patricia Mendoza, a Postal Inspector, stated that more information will be shared as the investigation unfolds. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies to delve further into this active case, gathering and analyzing information as they progress.
