Season 2 of Penguin in Limbo, Another Successful DC TV Show Emerges

Superhero fans, get ready for some exciting news! While we’re still waiting to hear about The Penguin Season 2, there’s been a big update on another DC TV show that just got the green light from HBO Max.

Remember Booster Gold? This character from the comics is getting his own TV show, and David Jenkins, the creator of Our Flag Means Death, has been chosen to write the pilot. If the show gets picked up, Jenkins will also be the showrunner.

Booster Gold, aka Michael Jon Carter, is a character from the 25th century who traveled back in time with his robot sidekick Skeets to become a superhero. He’s a mix of comedy and action, making him a perfect fit for a TV show.

This isn’t the first time Booster Gold has appeared on screen, but this new show has the potential to make him even more popular. With Jenkins on board, who has experience with comedic storytelling, this series is definitely in good hands.

If you’re a fan of DC TV shows, keep your fingers crossed that Booster Gold gets a series order soon. In the meantime, get ready for Peacemaker Season 2 premiering next month on HBO Max, followed by Lanterns in early 2026, which will explore the Green Lantern mythology.

So stay tuned, superhero fans – there’s a lot of exciting content coming your way!
