Netflix Filming Causes Two-Week Closure of Major Road in East Windsor, NJ

Exciting news for East Windsor residents—Route 133 will be closed for two weeks! But don’t worry, it’s all for a good cause. A new Netflix project is being filmed in the area, which means some temporary road closures.

From Monday, October 6, to Saturday, October 11, the road will be shut down in both directions. The filming will take place each day from 8:30 AM to 8 PM, with a break on October 11 – October 14.

In case of bad weather, makeup filming dates are scheduled for October 11-12 and October 13-14. Unfortunately, not much is known about the film project, except that it will be on Netflix. Exciting stuff, right?

The New Jersey Department of Transportation shared that these closures are part of the state’s efforts to attract more film and television productions, bringing in revenue and jobs. So, despite the inconvenience, it’s all for a good cause.
