American High Producing New Comedy “Never Change” for Hulu: What to Expect on Hulu
Disney recently announced an exciting new comedy film in the works for Hulu called “Never Change.” This film promises a unique storyline centered around a small-town reunion that takes an unexpectedly hilarious turn.
Taking place in 2005, the plot revolves around the North Meadows High School graduating class, whose senior year was abruptly cut short by a destructive tornado that wreaked havoc on their school. Fast-forward to their mid-30s, and they find themselves being unexpectedly summoned back home to finally finish high school. Old flames, second chances, and buried secrets come to light in this comedic nightmare scenario.
The creative minds behind this movie come from American High, known for their collaborations with Disney on various Hulu films like “Crush,” “Summer of ’69,” and “Prom Dates,” among others. Filming is set to kick off later this year in Syracuse, New York on the American High campus and its neighboring areas.
The script for “Never Change” is penned by John Reynolds (from hit shows like “Stranger Things” and “Search Party”) based on a story by Reynolds and director Marty Schousboe (known for “Joe Pera Talks with You” and “A Maine Movie”). With a team of talented producers and executives on board, the film is in good hands.
While a specific release date is yet to be announced, you can catch “Never Change” on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. While international release details are still pending, it’s likely that this film will have a global launch on Disney+ like many other American High movies.
