Peacock Arts Trail in Wiltshire Town: Event Guide and Highlights

helming nerves, I took the plunge. I had previously only painted for fun, but after that weekend, I was convinced I could do more with my art. Fast forward to the present day, and I haven’t looked back. The trail has been a pivotal part of my journey as an artist,’ Michael shares.

The Corsham Town Hall plays an important role in this year’s trail as the main hub where people can view a sample piece of each artist’s work, pick up a detailed programme, and partake in family-friendly drop-in workshops and activities from the Little Big Art hub.

Hidden talents

Did you know that there are several artists in the October event who are taking part for the first time, including some hidden talents that do not necessarily have a social media presence? There is an air of mystery surrounding these secretive artists, which adds to the intrigue of the trail.

Take for instance Venue 16, a secret venue with three highly talented and reclusive artists, who will have their work available for sale for the very first time. Or Venue 31, a hidden gem off the beaten track which hosts four pop-up artists – a must-see, according to the Corsham-based team.

Having all these artists, makers and craftspeople under one roof could cause sensory overload, but fortunately, the friendly and knowledgeable ambassadors of the trail are on hand to guide visitors, answer questions and provide invaluable insights into the creative minds behind the wonderful work.

The arts trail is more than just art; it’s about forging new friendships, nurturing creative journeys, and celebrating talent that might otherwise go unnoticed. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, someone looking for a unique piece to adorn your home, or simply curious about the vibrant creative scene in Corsham, the Peacock Arts Trail is a fantastic event to explore.

So, if you find yourself upstaged by a peacock in Corsham, don’t fret. Embrace the artistic spirit of the town, follow the trail, support local artists, and immerse yourself in creativity.
