Apple TV+ Reveals New Trailer for Mr. Scorsese: Five-Part Series on Cinema Master

Martin Scorsese, the iconic filmmaker and film historian, will be the focus of a new five-part documentary series on Apple TV+ starting on October 17. The series, titled “Mr. Scorsese,” delves into the life and work of Scorsese, who has been a trailblazer in the world of filmmaking.

The documentary features never-before-seen footage and interviews with a star-studded lineup of individuals close to Scorsese, including Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, and more. The series traces Scorsese’s career from his early days making student films at New York University to the present, exploring the themes that have shaped his work.

Director Rebecca Miller, daughter of playwright Arthur Miller, helms the project. The series wrestles with existential questions about the nature of good and evil, a constant struggle that Scorsese grapples with in his artistic endeavors. The trailer for “Mr. Scorsese” offers a glimpse into the profound introspection that drives Scorsese’s storytelling.

Executive producers of the docuseries include Miller, Cindy Tolan, and Rick Yorn, among others. The project is presented by Expanded Media and Round Films in association with LBI Entertainment and Moxie Pictures.
