Following their successful debut event featuring Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford, the company has announced a new permanent home starting in 2026. The folks over at Zuffa Boxing have partnered up with Paramount+ to bring fans 12 exciting boxing events next year across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This partnership is set to last for five years, so get ready for some top-notch boxing action!
Founded by UFC president Dana White and HE Turki Alalshikh, Zuffa Boxing is ready to showcase the best and brightest in the boxing world. The first event is scheduled to air on Paramount+ in January, with the potential for even more events in the years to come. Plus, there’s a chance that some of these events might even be simulcast on CBS, giving fans even more ways to tune in and catch all the action.
According to Dana White, “I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience. There are millions of boxing fans that will now be able to watch competitive fights with up-and-coming boxers as well as the biggest stars in the sport. Paramount will be the home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the greatest fights in combat sports.”
The debut event featuring Canelo vs. Crawford was a massive success, drawing a crowd of over 70,000 fans at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The fight was streamed on Netflix and watched by a whopping 41.4 million viewers worldwide, setting a new record for the most-viewed men’s championship boxing fight of the 21st century. Crawford emerged victorious, becoming the undisputed super middleweight champion and only the second male boxer to achieve this feat in three different weight classes.
