Disney+ Subscribers to Experience Significant Price Increase Next Month

Story,” “Finding Nemo,” and all Star Wars films, along with classic Disney content such as “The Mickey Mouse Club.”

If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, get ready for a slight increase in prices starting on Oct. 21. The new pricing structure means an extra $2 to $3 per month, depending on the plan you have. For example, the regular Disney+ subscription will go up from $9.99 to $11.99 a month, while the no-ads Premium plan will jump from $15.99 to $18.99 a month.

The bundled plans are also seeing a price bump. The Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads will increase by $2, and all bundle plans including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, and HBO Max will go up by $3. For those with the NFL+ Premium bundle, no changes to the price are expected.

Since its launch in 2019, Disney+ has been a go-to streaming service for fans of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic content. With a library that includes fan favorites like “The Avengers,” “Toy Story,” and all the Star Wars films, as well as beloved classics like “The Mickey Mouse Club,” there’s something for everyone on the platform.

This price adjustment comes after ABC, a subsidiary of Disney, temporarily took “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” off the air on Sept. 17 in response to controversial comments made by the host. This decision led to some customers canceling their Disney+ subscriptions. However, Kimmel returned to the air on Sept. 23.

In a similar move, Apple TV also recently raised its prices by 30% last month, attributing the change to an increase in new content. It’s worth noting that Apple TV is one of the few platforms that doesn’t feature ads.

So, if you’re a Disney+ subscriber, keep an eye out for these upcoming changes in your billing starting next month. Whether you’re a fan of Marvel movies, Star Wars adventures, or classic Disney tales, rest assured that there’s still plenty of great content to enjoy on the platform – even with the slight price increase.
