Season 28 of The Voice: Historic Rule Changes Empower Artists and Fans
The Voice is back with a bang for its 28th season, and fans are in for a treat with some exciting new changes. Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg are returning as Coaches, ready to discover the next big superstar. Carson Daly will be at the helm, guiding us through the Blind Auditions, Battles, Knockouts, Playoffs, and Live Shows.
One of the new additions this season is the Carson Callback. If an Artist doesn’t get any chair turns during the Blind Auditions, Carson can give them a second chance with the Carson Callback card. The selected Artist will have 24 hours to prepare a new audition and try to impress the Coaches.
During the Battles, the power will be in the hands of the Artists. Instead of the Coaches selecting who goes head-to-head, the Artists will pair up themselves and give it their all for a spot in the Knockouts.
In the Knockouts, each Coach will have a Mic Drop button to highlight the standout artist on their team. The winning Artist, chosen by fans, will get to perform at the Rose Parade on January 1, 2026.
Fans will also have a say in who advances to the Live Shows this season. While each Coach will select one Artist from their team, fans will get to vote for the fifth and sixth singers, marking a historic moment of fan involvement in the competition.
With Coaches hungry for wins and a lineup of talented Artists ready to take the stage, Season 28 of The Voice promises to be an exciting and unforgettable journey. Tune in to support your favorites and see who will ultimately take home the crown.
