The long wait is nearly over: “Tulsa King” returns to Paramount+ for Season 3 tomorrow!
“Tulsa King” is one of many shows in the Paramount+ Taylor Sheridan ecosystem, which also includes shows like “1923,” “Landman,” “Lioness,” and “Mayor of Kingstown.” Last year, it beat all of those and more to be named Parmaount+’s most-watched original worldwide; it’s been such a massive hit for the streamer, which has already ordered a fourth season.
Sylvester Stallone leads the crime drama, which follows Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a Mafia capo who is released from a New York prison and sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There, he sets up and leads a new criminal organization.
Per Paramount+, in Season 3, “Dwight’s empire expands, so do his enemies and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.”
In addition to many returning cast members, Samuel L. Jackson will appear in Season 3 as Russell Lee Washington Jr.; following his debut in “Tulsa King,” Jackson will lead a new spin-off, “NOLA King,” which will also air on Paramount+.
