Disney is honoring the life and legacy of Hollywood legend Robert Redford with a special edition of “20/20” coming soon to ABC, Hulu, and Disney+. The one-hour special will highlight Redford’s incredible career as an actor and Oscar-winning filmmaker, as well as his impactful political and environmental activism.
Redford, who passed away on September 16, 2025, left a lasting mark on Hollywood with six decades of extraordinary work. Beyond his acting and directing, he co-founded the Sundance Film Festival and supported independent filmmakers through the Sundance Lab.
From his early days on Broadway to his rise to stardom, the special will showcase Redford’s journey and how he used his influence to drive positive change.
