NBC Airs ‘The Paper’ for the First Time, Setting a Milestone for Peacock Original Series

Exciting news for fans of “The Paper”! The hit show is making its way to NBC’s fall comedy lineup after premiering on Peacock. This marks a significant moment as it becomes the first Peacock original series to also be broadcast on the NBC network.

Starting November 10th, you can catch “The Paper” on Mondays following “St. Denis Medical.” And that’s not all – a new cheerleading comedy called “Stumble” will be joining the lineup on Fridays after “Happy’s Place,” starting November 7th.

NBCUniversal has shared that this move is part of their strategy to bring shows to viewers across different platforms. Lisa Katz, NBCU Entertainment president of scripted programming, expressed their excitement to connect with fans on both Peacock and NBC.

And the good news doesn’t end there – “The Paper” has already been renewed for a second season, set to premiere next fall. Alongside “Stumble” and “St. Denis Medical,” this show falls under the category of mockumentary workplace comedies. “Stumble” will follow the sitcom “Happy’s Place,” which stars Reba McEntire and explores the competitive world of junior college cheerleading.

In addition to “The Paper,” NBC has another comedy series in the works. “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” starring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe, is set to launch in midseason. The show follows a former football player, played by Morgan, as he tries to rebuild his public image with the help of Radcliffe’s character.

So mark your calendars and get ready for some hilarious and heartwarming entertainment on NBC this fall!
