Ben Stiller and Jessica Chastain to Star and Produce Apple TV+ Limited Series: The Off Weeks

Apple TV+ just announced an exciting new limited series called The Off Weeks, starring Jessica Chastain and Ben Stiller. The show, directed by Michael Showalter and executive produced by Alissa Nutting, follows the story of writing professor Gus Adler as his life is turned upside down by his divorce. When he’s not handling his on-week responsibilities with his kids, he’s embroiled in a dangerous love affair with a mysterious woman named Stella West. This eight-episode series promises to be a gripping watch with these talented actors at the helm.

This isn’t the first time Stiller and Chastain have worked together—they previously collaborated on the animated film Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. Stiller also has a history with Showalter, having worked on the Apple TV+ mini-series The Shrink Next Door.
