HBO Max Launching in 14 Asia Pacific Countries on Oct. 15: What to Expect
HBO Max is all set to bring its subscription streaming service to 14 Asia Pacific countries on Oct. 15, following its earlier launches in Australia and New Zealand this year. The platform is aiming to reach 150 million global households by 2026and had 125.5 million subscribers at the end of the last fiscal period. Excitingly, the service will now be available in new markets like Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. JB Perrette, the CEO and president of global streaming and games at Warner Bros. Discovery, expressed his enthusiasm about expanding HBO Max’s global presence to over 100 markets and hinting at future launches in Germany, Italy, and the U.K.
