Apple TV+ Shows “Severance” and “The Studio” Sweep 77th Emmys

Apple TV+ had a night to remember at the 77th Emmy Awards, with two of its shows, Severance and The Studio, taking home multiple awards. Severance follows the story of Lumon Industries, a mysterious company where employees lose their memories of personal lives while at work. The show boasts a star-studded cast including Adam Scott, Britt Lower, and Christopher Walken. On the other hand, The Studio is a satirical series focusing on Hollywood’s film industry, with Seth Rogen leading the cast.

The Studio won Outstanding Comedy Series, and its star Seth Rogen walked away with the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The team behind The Studio also won awards for directing and writing. On the other hand, Severance’s Tramell Tillman won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, while Britt Lower and Merritt Wever also picked up awards for their performances.

While Severance was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, it lost to The Pitt. Additionally, Adam Scott missed out on the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Despite these setbacks, Apple TV+ had a great showing at the Emmys with these well-deserved wins.

It’s a reminder of the quality content that Apple TV+ continues to deliver, with an impressive lineup of shows and talented actors. Congratulations to all the winners and the team behind these incredible series!
