Marvel Studios Reveals New Female Black Panther Character

Marvel Studios has just introduced its second female Black Panther in their latest Disney+ series, Eyes of Wakanda. This character marks a shift from the original male Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020. The new series showcases this mysterious character known as the Last Panther, who is set to become Wakanda’s Queen Mother in the 24th century and embarks on a mission through time. The new female Black Panther joins the ranks of those like Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, who took over the mantle in Boseman’s absence. It’s interesting to note that there was also a female Black Panther in the Marvel comics named Iya Nehanda who fought alongside early Avengers, but her existence in the MCU has yet to be confirmed. With the introduction of the Last Panther, it’s clear that the legacy of the Black Panther is evolving in exciting ways.
