Why ‘Big Brother’ is not airing on TV tonight (9/7/25)
“Big Brother” fans, get ready to mark your calendars! The next episode of your favorite reality TV show won’t be airing tonight as usual. Normally, “Big Brother” graces our screens on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on CBS, but this week we’ll have to wait a little longer.
The reason for the schedule change is that CBS is set to broadcast the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards tonight, Sunday, Sept. 7. But don’t worry, your favorite houseguests will be back before you know it!
If you’re feeling the suspense building up and can’t wait to catch the next episode, don’t fret! Season 27, episode 29 of “Big Brother” will air from 8-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7. After that, the regular schedule will resume with episodes airing from 8-9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, and 8-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9.
In case you missed the last eviction episode on Sept. 4, Mickey Lee was sent packing. She was up for eviction alongside Vince Panaro and Ashley Hollis, but Panaro pulled through, winning the BB Block Buster and securing his spot in the house. The votes to evict Lee were 6-1.
