2025 MTV VMAs Winners List – Complete Winners from the 2025 VMAs
The 2025 Video Music Awards were an exciting night with plenty of winners taking home Moon Person trophies. Ariana Grande won the prestigious Video of the Year award for her video “brighter days ahead,” snagging a total of three awards that night. Lady Gaga was also a big winner, taking home four awards, including Artist of the Year. She gave her acceptance speech while on the way to perform at Madison Square Garden after having to cancel a show in Miami due to a strained voice.
Sabrina Carpenter was another standout winner, with three trophies, including Album of the Year for Short n’ Sweet. Rosé and Bruno Mars won Song of the Year for their collaboration “APT.,” while KATSEYE took home the MTV Push Performance of the Year award for “Touch.” Gaga and Mars were also recognized for the Best Collaboration award for “Die With a Smile.”
The VMAs also honored Mariah Carey with the Video Vanguard Award, Busta Rhymes with the Rock the Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin with the Latin Icon Award. All three artists performed during the show, making it a night to remember.
The 2025 VMAs introduced two new categories this year: Best Pop Artist and Best Country Video. The show was live coast-to-coast from UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, with LL Cool J hosting. It aired on CBS for the first time, as well as on MTV and Paramount+ for subscribers to the premium plan.
Former MTV head Van Toffler and his company Gunpowder & Sky produced the show along with Den of Thieves. It was a star-studded night filled with incredible performances and deserving winners. Check out the full list of winners below:
