Rosie O’Donnell Responds to Trump’s Threats with Epstein Comment
Donnell on his social media platform, Truth Social”}Rosie O’Donnell didn’t hold back in responding to President Donald Trump’s renewed threats to take away her U.S. citizenship. The two have been feuding for nearly 20 years, and in response to Trump’s return to the White House, O’Donnell moved to Ireland earlier this year with her youngest child, Clay.
Trump took to Truth Social, his social media platform, on Wednesday night amidst calls for the release of the Epstein files, to post a distorted photo of O’Donnell and express his contemplation of revoking her citizenship. He wrote, “She is not a Great American and is, in my opinion, incapable of being so!”
In response, O’Donnell quipped on Instagram, “Banishing me again? Logan Roy would be proud.” She also made a reference to Succession character, Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox. O’Donnell emphasized, “EPSTEIN SURVIVORS are the reckoning and your gold lamé throne is melting.”
Trump has previously made similar comments about O’Donnell’s citizenship on Truth Social, stating that she is “a Threat to Humanity” and suggesting that she should remain in Ireland. However, it’s important to note that the president does not have the power to strip anyone of their citizenship.
The ongoing feud between O’Donnell and Trump dates back to 2006 when she was a host on The View. When asked about living in Trump’s America, O’Donnell mentioned that it would be emotionally taxing, hence her move to Ireland. Despite the political turmoil in the United States, O’Donnell expressed gratitude towards the people of Ireland for their warmth and kindness.
It’s clear that this feud will continue to unfold, with both sides not holding back in their exchanges. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing drama.
