Roku Appoints Lisa Holme as Head of Content
Lisa Holme has been named the new Head of Content at Roku. With a background in Warner Bros. Discovery and Hulu, Holme is set to lead Roku’s content team. This includes overseeing original programming, content acquisitions and partnerships, sports, branded content, and This Old House content and studios. In addition, Holme will be on the lookout for new tech innovations. She will report directly to Charlie Collier, the president of Roku Media.
With over 20 years of experience in the streaming industry, Holme has a proven track record. At Warner Bros. Discovery, she focused on multi-platform content strategies for Discovery+ and HBO Max. During her time at Hulu, Holme worked on content licensing, co-productions, partnerships, and strategy.
Starting on September 8th, Holme will be based in Santa Monica. Collier praised Holme, stating that she is a remarkable leader with a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences. Her expertise in leveraging data-driven insights and building teams makes her a valuable addition to the Roku team. Holme is excited to join Roku at such a pivotal time and is looking forward to pushing creative boundaries even further.
