‘With Love, Meghan’ fails to make Netflix Top 10

The second season of Meghan Markle’s show, “With Love, Meghan,” didn’t quite hit the mark in its debut week on Netflix. Despite dropping eight new episodes on Aug. 26, the show didn’t make it into the streamer’s Top 10 list for the week of Aug. 25 to Aug. 31. This was a noticeable drop from its first season, which grabbed 2.6 million viewers in its first week back in March 2024. Reviews for the show haven’t been great either, with critics calling it things like “baffling” and “intolerable.”

The future of “With Love, Meghan” remains uncertain, but the show’s relatively low viewership numbers might not be enough to signal the end just yet. The show serves as a platform to showcase products from Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, which Netflix has a vested interest in. As Ever, known for products like tea, wine, and baking mixes, even dropped a new item—an orange marmalade—on the same day season two premiered. So, the show might still have a chance for a third season.

“With Love, Meghan” is part of a larger $100 million deal between Netflix and Archewell Productions, Harry and Meghan’s company. The series features Markle hosting guests at a California estate, sharing cooking and hosting tips alongside famous faces like Chrissy Teigen and Tan France. Despite the show’s mixed reviews and lower viewership for season two, it’s clear that Markle’s collaboration with Netflix is still a work in progress.
