Eve opens up about nerves of becoming a stepmom: Finding my place

Eve wears many hats, from rapper to author to Grammy winner, but her most important role is that of a mom.

Even before welcoming her son Wilde Wolf in 2022 with husband Maximillion Cooper, the 46-year-old star had been a stepmom to Cooper’s four children for almost 15 years before tying the knot in 2014.

“It’s been incredible. I’ve known them all since they were tiny, and it really is a beautiful thing,” Eve shared about her stepchildren: Lotus, Jagger, Cash, and Mini.

Despite her initial nerves about blending into their existing family, Eve has worked hard to ensure her stepchildren feel loved and supported, offering them a judgment-free space to share their feelings.

Over the years, her bond with her stepchildren has only grown stronger, with them coming together as a family even as they pursue their own paths.

As Eve wraps up her “Where The Party At Tour” and promotes Apple TV+’s “KPOPPED,” she is looking forward to a family trip to Australia with her entire brood, including the older children who have never visited Down Under.

While Eve has collaborated with music icons like Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys, it’s her role as a mom that truly brings her joy. Spending time with her son Wilde is her favorite pastime, and she appreciates the flexibility to balance work and family life.

Despite her success, Eve remains grounded in her role as a mom, finding happiness in the simple moments spent with her son.

Her journey as a stepmom and mom continues to be a source of fulfillment for the multi-talented artist, showcasing how important family is to her, above all.
