Rogers to Bundle Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+ in Canada

Rogers is making a move in the streaming service game by offering a new bundle that includes three major platforms: Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+. This new package, called the Rogers Xfinity StreamSaver plan, is currently priced at CAN$22 (US$16) per month. By combining these services, Rogers estimates that subscribers can save around 30% each month compared to subscribing to each service individually.

The breakdown of costs for each service is as follows: Netflix with ads costs CAN$7.99 (US$5.80) per month, Apple TV+ is priced at CAN$14.99 (US$10.90) per month, and Disney+ with ads goes for CAN$8.99 (US$6.55) per month, totaling CAN$31.97 (US$23.25) per month when subscribed separately.

Rogers isn’t the only company trying this strategy. Bell Media also offers a bundle of Netflix, Disney+, and its own streaming service Crave for the same price of CAN$22 (US$16) per month. Additionally, Telus has a similar offering called Stream+ that includes Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video for its mobile customers.

With the majority of Canadians already subscribed to Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+, Rogers is aiming to appeal to cost-conscious customers looking to save money on their entertainment expenses. These three streaming services are among the most popular platforms for Canadian viewers, making this bundled offering an attractive option for those looking to stream their favorite TV shows and movies without breaking the bank.
