Exciting news for “Yellowstone” fans! A new spinoff is in the works, and it’s adding a major star to the cast. Annette Bening, an Oscar nominee, will be joining the show as Belulah Jackson, the sharp and charismatic head of a Texas ranch. The spinoff, titled “The Dutton Ranch,” will focus on the lives of Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly), Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser), and their adopted son, Carter (played by Finn Little), on their sprawling 7,000-acre ranch.
Annette Bening is no stranger to the screen, having starred in acclaimed films like “American Beauty” and “Being Julia.” Fans may also recognize her from the 2024 Peacock miniseries “Apples Never Fall.” With Bening on board, the new spinoff is sure to bring an exciting dynamic to the beloved “Yellowstone” universe.
But the “Yellowstone” saga doesn’t stop there. In addition to “The Dutton Ranch,” there are several other spinoffs in the works, including “The Madison” led by Michelle Pfeiffer, set in the same universe but focusing on different characters. Fans can also look forward to more prequels and spinoffs, such as “1944” and “6666,” exploring different aspects of the “Yellowstone” world.
And let’s not forget about cocreator Taylor Sheridan, who has been busy with a slew of successful shows like “Landman,” “Tulsa King,” and “Mayor of Kingstown.” Despite the workload, Sheridan remains committed to telling stories with creative freedom, making the most of the opportunity he has.
