Crave has a new horror movie called Until Dawn available to stream starting on August 29. It’s about a group of teens stuck in a time loop trying to survive the night. Directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Ella Rubin and Michael Cimino, it’s based on a popular PlayStation game. You can watch Until Dawn on Crave with a Premium membership for $22/month or choose from cheaper options with ads.
Over on Disney+, you can catch a powerful documentary called Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time. This series sheds light on the lack of care for Black communities during the devastating hurricane. Disney+ also offers Thunderbolts, a superhero movie about antiheroes teaming up to fight a dangerous threat. Directed by Jake Schreier and featuring a star-studded Marvel cast, it’s available to stream for a monthly fee.
Netflix has two exciting additions to its lineup this week. The Thursday Murder Club is a crime comedy based on a popular novel and stars Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan. Unknown Number: The High School Catfish is a gripping documentary that dives into a cyberbullying case in a small town. You can stream these titles on Netflix with different subscription options available.
Paramount+ introduces Stans, a documentary exploring the world of Eminem superfans and how fandom shapes identity and community. Featuring rare footage and interviews with Eminem himself, this film is a must-watch for music enthusiasts. Paramount+ offers different subscription tiers for viewers to choose from.
Lastly, Prime Video brings us The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a thrilling action series following a Navy SEAL’s journey to becoming a CIA operative. Lovers of sci-fi and comedy-drama can enjoy the final season of Upload, a show about AI gone rogue.
