Chris Parnell leaves Apple TV+ for Paramount+ Originals
Chris Parnell is making a move from Apple TV+ to Paramount+ Originals, according to reports from Deadline. Paramount+’s Head of Originals, Jane Wiseman, has brought on Chris Parnell, who previously served as a creative executive at Apple TV+, as executive president for Paramount+ Originals. In his new role, Parnell will report to Wiseman and oversee the development and production of original content for the platform. Parnell joined Apple TV+ in 2020 after working at Sony Pictures Television, where he played a key role in developing Apple’s original series lineup. Some of the scripted series Parnell worked on include “Dark Matter,” “Neuromancer,” “The Last Frontier,” “Bad Monkey,” and the upcoming “Pluribus” by Vince Gilligan.
