WWE Saturday Night Main Event to Move to Peacock with John Cena’s Final Match included

WWE fans, get ready—Saturday Night’s Main Event is making its way to Peacock! In some exciting news, it was announced that WWE’s flagship PLE events will be moving to the new ESPN app next month, starting earlier than the previously set April 2026 date. But don’t worry, WWE and Peacock are teaming up for a new multi-year deal to exclusively stream Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Starting this year, the quarterly event will be streaming in primetime four times a year, with the first event scheduled for November 1st and the second on December 13th. And here’s the kicker—the December 13th event will feature none other than John Cena’s retirement match.

But what about all the other WWE content? Don’t fret, the WWE Network library will still be available on Peacock through the end of 2025, and NXT PLEs will be available until March 2026. As for what happens after that, well, that remains to be seen.

In addition, the SmackDown library will stay on Peacock with a 30-day delay, while USA Network will continue to be the exclusive live home of SmackDown. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque expressed his excitement about the partnership with Peacock, highlighting their long-standing partnership and looking forward to more collaboration in the future.

Rick Cordella, President of NBC Sports, also shared his enthusiasm about the ongoing relationship with WWE, emphasizing the premium content of Saturday Night’s Main Event. This includes the highly anticipated retirement match of John Cena, all of which will be live and exclusive on Peacock.

So mark your calendars and get ready to catch all the action on Peacock—it’s going to be a wild ride!
