Prince Archie Inspires Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s New Netflix Project – SEO Optimized
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have some exciting new projects in the works with Netflix, and it all started with their son, Prince Archie. The couple, who are parents to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, discovered the Masaka Kids dance troupe through videos they watched with their son during lockdown. The dance troupe, based in Uganda and made up of orphaned children, captured the hearts of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The couple’s media hub, Archewell Productions, will be featuring the dance troupe in a new documentary titled Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within. This is part of their multi-year deal with Netflix, where they aim to create meaningful content that resonates globally.
Although Prince Harry and Meghan were not directly involved in filming the documentary and did not travel to Uganda, they were deeply moved by the children’s stories. Through the skilled direction of David Vieira Lopez and Moses Bwayo, the film promises to showcase the vibrant community where orphaned children find joy and healing through dance.
In a recent interview, Meghan shared that Prince Archie visited her on set while she was working on her lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, for Netflix. She mentioned that it was special for her children to see her at work and hopes that they will feel proud to have been a part of her journey.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have extended their creative partnership with Netflix, announcing new projects like a romance feature, a season 2 of With Love, Meghan, and a holiday episode set to premiere in December. Their commitment to creating impactful and resonant content is evident in their diverse and engaging programming.
