Prime Video signs multi-year licensing deal with Maddock Films
Prime Video and Maddock Films recently joined forces in a multi-year licensing agreement that will bring eight upcoming Maddock titles exclusively to Prime Video for streaming worldwide. This exciting deal includes new films from Maddock’s horror-comedy franchise, as well as sequels like Shiddat 2 and Badlapur 2, and Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis.
Fans can look forward to new releases like Thama and two other yet-to-be-announced titles, set to hit screens between 2025 and 2027. Prime Video has been a strong supporter of Maddock Films, having previously streamed hits like Stree 2, which became one of the platform’s most-watched global releases.
In addition to the intriguing horror-comedies, the agreement covers films like Param Sundari featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, slated for a theatrical release on August 29, 2025. Also lined up are the much-anticipated sequels Shiddat 2 and Badlapur 2, along with Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis starring Agastya Nanda.
