Paramount+ Drama Little Disasters Set to Premiere on HBO Max in Europe

Exciting news for fans of drama series! Little Disasters, the Paramount+ show based on Sarah Vaughan’s novel, is coming to HBO Max in Europe. Starring Diane Kruger, the show will premiere on Warner Bros Discovery’s streaming platform in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands this October, with France and Belgium to follow later in the year.

Produced by Roughcut Television in London, this six-part psychological thriller first debuted on Paramount+ in the UK and Ireland back in May. The story follows the decade-long friendship of four new mothers, exploring the complexities that arise when one of their babies experiences a mysterious head injury. With Kruger playing the role of an A&E doctor facing a tough decision about involving social services, the series promises intense and gripping moments.

Ruth Fowler and Amanda Duke skillfully adapted Vaughan’s novel for the screen, while the show was executive produced by Vaughan, Ash Atalla, Alex Smith, and Marianna Abbotts. Fremantle, under the ownership of RTL Group, holds the global sales rights for the series. Simon Judd from Castlefield, a Fremantle production subsidiary, also served as an executive producer for the show, which was directed by Eva Sigurdardottir and produced by Myf Hopkins.

The creation of Little Disasters was overseen by Sebastian Cardwell, Paramount+’s deputy head of content in the UK, and editor-in-charge Paul Testar. Get ready for this thrilling and thought-provoking series to make its mark in Europe on HBO Max, offering viewers a powerful and engaging story to dive into this fall.
