Streaming QB Fantasy Football Mock Draft

I absolutely love doing fantasy football mock drafts—it’s a fun way to test different strategies and see how your team turns out. Today, I’m trying out a 12-team draft with a half-PPR format, starting from the first-overall pick. No cheating involved, I promise!

For this draft, my strategy is to go with streaming quarterbacks. I’m all for grabbing a quarterback in the later rounds this year, especially since after the top four dual-threat quarterbacks, things level out quite a bit. There are plenty of high-upside options that often go undrafted or fall to the late rounds in regular-sized leagues.

Let’s dive into the draft picks:
1.01: Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN)
Ja’Marr Chase is a no-brainer here, with his stellar 2024 season making him the top pick across the board.
2.12: Trey McBride (TE – ARI)
I opted for Trey McBride here to secure a top tight end and balance out my roster.
3.01: Kyren Williams (RB – LAR)
Kyren Williams was my pick here, banking on his potential as a workhorse in the Rams’ offense.
4.12: James Conner (RB – ARI)
James Conner is a reliable choice, ranking high in both rushing grade and yards per route run last season.
5.01: DK Metcalf (WR – PIT)
DK Metcalf stands out as a top target for Aaron Rodgers in a prime position to shine this season.
6.12: Jaylen Waddle (WR – MIA)
Jaylen Waddle offers a promising rebound potential after a disappointing previous season.
7.01: Tyrone Tracy Jr. (RB – NYG)
With reports of Tyrone Tracy Jr. moving up the Giants’ depth chart, he looks like a strong fantasy pick.
8.12: Jauan Jennings (WR – SF)
Despite some concerns about his calf injury, Jauan Jennings seems poised to make an impact this season.
9.01: Matthew Golden (WR – GB)
Rounding out my team, Matthew Golden looks like a solid pick to fill out my starting lineup.

Mock drafts are a great way to test strategies and see how different scenarios play out. Give it a try for yourself and see how your team shapes up!
