Sarah Jessica Parker discusses her thoughts on watching “And Just Like That…” and “Sex and the City”

Sarah Jessica Parker recently opened up about her reluctance to watch her iconic projects, Sex and the City and And Just Like That… During a Q&A session in N.Y., she shared that she has no interest in viewing them as she does not enjoy watching herself on screen. Parker mentioned that even though fans may know her character better than she does, she appreciates their enthusiasm and insights.

The Sex and the City universe, which includes the original show, two movies, and spin-off series, has a dedicated fan base. Parker’s co-star John Corbett, who reprised his role in And Just Like That…, encouraged her to watch the new episodes, as he found the experience sentimental and rewarding.

Despite Corbett’s recommendation, Parker remains firm in her decision not to rewatch any of the Sex and the City projects. She values the memories and experiences she had while working on the show but finds it emotionally challenging to revisit them.
