Linda Peacock (1948-2025) Obituary: Remembering a Life in Orlando
Linda Allen Peacock, lovingly known as Nunni, passed away on July 22, leaving behind a beautiful legacy. Born on January 13, 1948, in Columbus, Georgia, Linda was a talented dancer, model, and advocate who touched the lives of many. She found joy in the arts, excelling in ballet, tap, and toe dancing. Linda’s passion for life and faith in Christ shone brightly in everything she did, reflecting her strength, wisdom, and love for others.
She dedicated herself to mentoring mothers at Mom to Mom at First Baptist Church of Orlando, carrying on her spirit of love and service to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Linda met her husband, Robert “Topper” William Peacock, Jr., while studying in Macon, Georgia. Together, they shared 57 years of marriage filled with travel, family gatherings, and warm hospitality at their Georgia farm. Linda’s grace and charm extended beyond her family to her community, where she worked as a real estate agent, substitute teacher, and model along Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida.
Her true joy came from her two children, four grandchildren, and great-grandchild, whom she cherished dearly. Linda’s life centered on sharing love and happiness with those she held dear. She will be deeply missed by her husband, daughter Courtney Peacock Pollak (Scott), son Allen Hargrove Peacock (Courtney), grandchildren Alexis Linda Santiago, Hunter William Peacock (Katie), Samuel Hargrove Peacock, Wyatt Michael Peacock, great-grandchild Briar Cloud Peacock, sister Angela Allen Maunakea, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, where Linda was a Covenant Partner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arts Fellowship Orlando program at the church. Linda’s legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
