Paramount+ Lioness Season 3 Renewal Likely
Hey friends, exciting news for all you Lioness fans out there! The possibility of a season 3 renewal at Paramount+ is looking really hopeful. Deadline reports that Taylor Sheridan’s series will likely be back for a third installment, something fans have been eagerly anticipating for some time now. The delay was due to contract negotiations, especially with Nicole Kidman, who plays a key role in the show despite having limited screen time.
A fun tidbit from the same Deadline report is that the new seasons will be filmed at a massive production campus in Fort Worth, Texas, which happens to be close to where Sheridan lives and works. This location was also used for filming Landman season 2 and will likely play a role in The Madison season 2, another series related to Yellowstone that hasn’t aired yet, even though filming wrapped up quite a while back.
Out of all the shows mentioned, Lioness is the one we’re most excited to see return. While season 2 may have felt a bit similar to season 1 toward the end, we’re hopeful that there’s plenty of room to take Joe and the other characters in some exciting new directions.
